 Spend a random weekend road trip to South West England, departing from London.

Tips for travel

  • Wear a good pair of shoes
  • Good to wear windproof cloth - England could be very windy 
  • Bring some coins with you - some car park ticket payments may need coins
  • A light backpack - with some snack and a water bottle 

1. Stone henge

3. Tintagel Castle

Parking fee: 2pounds per hour

Entry fee: free if outside, if you want to walk in you need to purchase ticket

5. Plymouth Hoe
Plymouth Hoe, referred to locally as the Hoe, is a large south-facing open public space in the English coastal city of Plymouth.

I had a chance to use the ferry on this trip when traveling from Minack theatre to Plymouth.

My NHS Interview Experience

I got two interviews.  I accepted one of the offers and I stop applying for jobs.  Congratulations to receive the job interview. An overview of NHS interview.   Usually, it starts with  introducing yourself (tell about your cv),  then clinical and ethics questions,  last Questions, and Answers.   Usually, each interview took 15-20mins time only .  You should be precise.  > Some interviews could email you beforehand and request you to prepare with a presentation/ teaching. Some interviews could be face to face.          *I received an invitation for an interview face to face. Things that you should do as soon as possible after arrived in UK for your first job

This is my personal experience.  I feel lost at the beginning of this tunnel.  These articles aim to help IMG to figure out what to do, as an outline of reference.  The detail of trust or local induction will not be discussed here. Very important 1. Occupational health clearance -date will be given, take blood for hep, MMR, TB (IGRA) - varies with trust/ local policy - Most trusts allow the new starter to work only after the occupational clearance. Some trust does allow you to start the observation/ shadowing without it.  - The test takes one day (just go to take your blood), the appointment may take one week to book, the result could be out in 1 to 2week's time depending on trust.  Tips : Try to book as soon as possible.
