UK Driving licence theory test and My note
This is my experience sharing, data collection, and personal note ( done on August 2022).
A. Office Website:
https://www.gov.uk/theory-test/revision-and-practice
B. My experience as a Malaysian Driver
I recommend studying for 2 weeks if you are working on sfhit.
Take the first weeks to study the book or question bank, then do the mock question bank.
If you are in rush and want to try to be fast, some people even say they can just study for 4 hours or 4 days.
Intensive study for the last 1-2 days is strongly recommended.
I personally felt that the traffic law and rules in UK are much more complex than in Malaysia.
Why?
It involved different users like cyclists, pediatricians, cars, public transport, and ANIMAL (horse), which is not common in Malaysia traffic roads.
There are tram and puffin crossing too.
I used 4 in one apps, which cover driving theory tests and hazard perception.
Officially there are three books to read (refer to the official website, the first link given in this pages), It is always good to have a read on those book rather than just study from the question bank.
Tips:
On the exam ----> If you are finished with your quiz (theory part) early, take the time to rest your mind and eye. Don't submit your theory test too soon. Originally, there is only a 3mins break. Stay calm and prepare your mind before entering the hazard perception test!

Part B: Hazard perception
Advice/ Tips
two click method/ three click method
No more than 4 clicks in a row, no more than 10 clicks in one video
Focus on moving hazard rather than static hazard
Click any place in cursor, like you saw hazard and going to brake
Total 14 video clips, 44 out of 75 marks
Do your best to only respond to things that are or could be developing hazards, while limiting the number of times you respond to static hazards.
Don’t double or triple click in quick succession, just try to click once deliberately.
It’s worth remembering that the majority of complaints that the DVSA receive about the hazard perception test come from people failing due to clicking too much
Stay cool head and practice
Important to know: those video clips usually give hints of the object (developing hazard), you need to pay extra attention to small details e.g. road sign shows animal (likely you will get an animal), road sign shows school (you could get pedestrian), wet environment, motorway (likely you could get sudden enter of a car from another lane into your lane, you keep to keep an eye of three-lane)
